Welcome to Palgrave Primary School

The Headteacher is Julia Waters.

Palgrave Primary School is part of the Tilian Partnership, a Multi Academy Trust (MAT).

The school is very proud of their recent Ofsted inspection in October 2019, with an overall Good rating, with Outstanding in behaviour and attitudes and personal development.

Here is an excerpt from Julia Water's welcome letter in the school brochure:

"We are extremely proud of our school and its pupils. We promote high standards of behaviour and achievement and have been very successful in these areas during the last few years.

Our school is a safe and caring environment in which the children become confident learners. We encourage mutual respect and sensitivity towards others.

We aim to support each child to achieve their potential across the full primary curriculum. We believe in developing the whole child and encourage creative development through art and music. The school also encourages children to be healthy and active through high quality P.E. and competitive sport.

We pride ourselves on being a kind, caring and friendly school with happy staff and pupils who love to be at school and very supportive parents and governing body. The school achieved an Outstanding in the church inspection (SIAMS) in May 2017."
